Students of class VIII derived the formula of area of cone by cutting the cone into different equal sectors and calculating the area of each sector and then adding the total which gives the area of cone πrl

 Students of class VII learnt to convert fraction into  decimal by  paper cutting and pasting . They made a better visualisation how 1\10 =0.1 and so on.

Students of Class VIII are  using isometric paper to draw three dimensional objects of different dimensions like cubes,prism and cuboids in order to have better visualisation of objects and have proper and better understanding .
