MATHS IS FUN

 Students of class VIII performed an activity to calculate the day of any date given using the month codes,day codes and century codes.We took an example of 15-08-1947 and found that we got our independence on Friday.This is how students calculated the day of their birthdays and other remarkable days.

Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and loving nutured,as they are the future of nation and the citizens of tomorrow.Every child is born optimist, he dreams golden dreams .

In order to  test the knowledge of the basic concepts an,Interhouse Activity ( Maths Quiz) of class VIII was conducted on 30th October .5 houses participated in the quiz and there were 5 rounds . Round 1- Algebra  Round 2-Numbers Round 3-Shapes and Geometric Meaning Round 4-Handling Data Round 5-Problem Solving Quiz helped the students to think from a different perspective and promoted many good qualities like teamwork,problem solving skills, time management, patience.The following students bagged the Position. First Position ( Einstein House)- Aditya Vikram and Gurtej Second Position (Bose House)- Sayna Bhutani,Ananya Sodhani,Vartika Khullar,Kavye Shah,Pranjal Sharma.
