Triangular Pyramid
Students of class VI , Cambridge International DAV Pushpanjali worked in pairs to make straw sticks by threading a piece of string through a straw leaving 10cm from either side and secured the string with a tape and then tied 5 sticks of the same length together to make two triangles.Students add 6 th stick of the same length to the two triangles to make four triangles.Students visualised it as tetrahedron or triangular prism composed of four triangular faces, six straight edges and four vertex corners.This activity gave hand on experience to the students.
Army Force Flag Day
The Armed Force Flag Day is a day dedicated to India towards collection of funds from people of India for the welfare of the Indian Armed Forces personnel.It has been observed annually in India on December 7 since 1949.
Srabble Competition
Srabble Championship 2019 was organised by Collins in DLF Public School for grades 6 to 8 on 7 December 2019.There were 30 students in the competition.Among that Sayna of class VIII won the first run up position in grade 8 level.
Painting Competition
Painting Competition was organised by Faber Castell on 27th November by letting a child go free with the imagination to express their love for sports through art. The theme of the competition,"The sport that I Love'".Class VIII students participated with great enthusiasm.
