Perimeter of Compound Shape


An activity for finding the perimeter of the compound shape was done in VII class using matchsticks,pastel sheet and sketchpens where students made a square of side 20cm  out of  compound shape using the match sticks and calculated it's perimeter and found it to be 20+20+20+20=80cm.It was a different approach .
